Just been to the Maxwells for the first time since it’s renovation. I’m sure people can agree it needed a lick of paint and now the pub looks great. I ordered the tomahawk pork and it was absolutely delicious. The service was amazing and all the staff had a smile on their face. Props to the manager(s), they’ve turned the place around. We’ll definitely be back!
Easter Sunday treasure hunt, was a perfect day finished off with a fantastic meal for about 30 of us... The staff were amazing and bent over backwards to be accommodate us. And the food was delicious, hot and on time. 10 out of 10 guys
The staff at Maxwells are amazing and are always on the go. Great food at the price. Lovely job of updating the old building and a more comfortable relaxed space. Well done all, keep it up.
We booked an area for around 40 family members today. Staff have been fantastic. Food. Even with so many of us was served in great time. And was delicious. Would highly recommend you try it. We will definitely be returning
My husband and I have been here quite a few times and we had lunch here again today, the drinks were refreshing and the food was brilliant as usual, cooked to perfection, fresh and of quality. the staff were all welcoming friendly attentive and helpful, smiling and cheerful which makes you feel very welcome, the refit is also excellent first time back here since it was done, and the place looks lovely, really bright and airy. :)
I took a group for lunch and they all said the food was great, service was very good and the servers were friendly as were the bar staff. Highly recommend visiting for a meal
